| Robin Shawn and Laurie Lee We met in Algebra II class in high school. So we are "high school sweethearts". I was a freshman (14) and he was a junior (17). We started dating 5 days before my 15th birthday--on January 19th, 1995. That seems like so long ago. We get along really good and always have. We've had our fights, but nothing serious. We are best friends. We always knew that we were meant for each other. We can always make each other laugh and I think that is very important. We got married on April 10th, 1998. It was Good Friday that year. And it was also the spring break of my senior year. I know you are thinking we "were just babies". I know it seems like that now, but when you're young and in love, you're inpatient as well. We love spending time together and going on trips. We love going new places and seeing new things together especially with our boys. Our boys are everything to us. We do everything we can for them. We are truly a happy family. Our 10 year wedding anniversary was in April 08. It really doesn't seem like that long ago and in other ways it seems like we have been together forever. Our boys are the most important thing right now and we have the rest of our lives to spend with each other. Our boys will be grown and leave home someday, so we have to treasure the moments we have together now when they are young. And, yes, Robin always wears a hat. Unless he's at work. I don't know why he has such cute curls. |
